The motor runs but the blades don’t turn. Usually means the flywheel is jammed or the motor is failing. If a reset doesn’t fix it, it’s time.

A same-mount swap starts at $175. If a new mounting assembly or plumbing modifications are needed, expect $225-$375. Price confirmed before work starts. You supply the disposal or I source it at cost.
If it hums but won’t grind, leaks from the bottom, frequently needs resetting, or is 8+ years old and acting up, replacement is usually more cost-effective than repair.
You can buy it yourself or I can source it at cost. Most homeowners go with a 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP unit. I install whatever you choose.
A standard same-mount swap takes about 30-60 minutes. New mounting assemblies or plumbing work may take 1-2 hours.
In most cases, yes. If the sink has a standard drain opening and there’s an electrical outlet nearby under the sink, I can install a new disposal. I assess the setup and quote accordingly.
