A retrofit replaces the old bulb, trim, and sometimes the housing inside an existing recessed can with a modern LED module. The result is brighter, more even light that uses a fraction of the energy. No new wiring or ceiling work required in most cases.
Pricing depends on the number of lights and the type of existing cans. I quote per job after you tell me how many lights you need upgraded. Flat-rate pricing confirmed before work starts.
Most single-room retrofits (4-8 lights) take about an hour. Whole-home upgrades of 15-25+ lights can typically be completed in a half day. I schedule based on the count you provide.
Most LED retrofit modules are dimmable, but they require a compatible LED dimmer switch. Old incandescent dimmers can cause flickering or buzzing with LEDs. I check your dimmers during the install and can replace them if needed.
LED retrofits come in multiple trim styles (smooth, baffle, gimbal) and color temperatures from warm white (2700K) to daylight (5000K). Most homeowners choose 3000K for a warm, natural look. I help you pick the right option for your space.
